What They Say

“Worth the drive and admission. Water was very warm and nice to be in. There are cooling fountains within if you get too hot. Even with snow and ice surrounding us we stayed warm. Towels cost $5 but you can bring your own. There are lockers for some quarters to store your layers/clothes. Bathrooms had showers and blow dryers. Admission is good for the entire day so you can come back if you wanted to multiple times.”

“Definitely worth the visit! We just popped up for the day to see the ice museum and dip into the hot springs. The ice house was really cool! Sipped an appletini from a glass made of ice then smashed it on the ground outside (was weirdly exciting to do). Then went to the hot springs – BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS! It’s $5 PER towel to rent one of theirs. The hot springs were AMAZING! It was so relaxing and quiet. I highly recommend it!”

“Chena Hot Springs is the best hot springs that i have ever been. Bring lots of water and fill up your fuel tank before you leave Fairbanks.”
-Paul Robarge

“If you are going to soak here I would highly recommend staying here since you can soak for free when you have a room. Daniel at the front desk was so helpful and had amazing customer service. I was really impressed with all the staff. I did have a towel that was stolen so be careful to keep an eye on your towel if it’s a personal one. This place is really relaxing and the perfect getaway.”
